Paul Brett, SIG Co-ordinator Paul Brett

Paul is Senior Lecturer in English as a Foreign Language in the School of Languages and European Studies at the University of Wolverhampton, UK. He has been teaching EFL since 1982 and has used computer assisted language learning since 1984. He previously worked for the British Council, starting with four years in Venezuela and followed by five years in Dubai, U.A.E. He completed an MA in TEFL at the University of Birmingham in 1992. He is currently completing his PhD into the effectiveness of multimedia for language learning and has been Co-ordinator of the IATEFL Computer Special Interest group since 1997. The Computer SIG Co-ordinator is responsible for overseeing the running of the SIG, formulating policy and direction on annual basis and ensuring that it fulfills its obligations to its members. These include liasing with the main IATEFL committee, responding to members' enquiries, ensuring there are three events and news letters per year.
