All you need is a headset and some HTML knowledge if you want to embed it into your own website. If you're an end-user, like you will be here, you don't even need that. Here's what you need to do: Click the link at the end of this page to open the page that contains the embedded HearMe program. The first time you do so, HearMe will download itself onto your computer. This may take a few minutes depending on your connection speed; you will also need to accept the plugin. Please do so by clicking "OK" or "Yes" when prompted. Once you have done this, you will see the HearMe interface. Click "Options" to change your name so others will recognise who you are. If you're there at the same time as someone else you'll see their name; to speak, click and hold the "Talk" button, speak into your mic and release the mouse button when you're finished speaking. We'll meet there and try it out after the two live RealVideo presentations. The dates and times of these are:
It's a good idea to visit the HearMe page first to download the plugin so you don't need to do that during the actual meeting. Speak to you there! |
