If your computer is protected by a firewall
(which may be the case if you are on a network), your systems
administrator may need to adjust the ports on the firewall
to allow full NetMeeting functionality. In particular, you
may not be able to receive audio and video without reconfiguration
of the firewall.
In order for make full use of NetMeeting,
the firewall needs to configured in such a way that data can:
- Pass through primary TCP connections on
ports 389, 522, 1503, 1720, and 1731.
- Pass through secondary TCP and UDP connections
on dynamically assigned ports (1024-65535).
For further information on the function of
each port for NetMeeting or information on how to configure
